EY’s Strategic Growth Forum

In the run up for their 2017 annual conference, I was tasked with creating a set of templates for various types of social graphics that followed EY's strict brand standards. We created two sets of templates to create buzz leading up to the conference and to streamline approvals for quick social content production during the event.

From the beginning of August through mid-November, we posted 218 pieces of original content that reached over 5 million people.

Concept graphics

We wanted to create graphics for entrepreneurs to repost on their own feeds from our main account. I built mock-up graphics that would feature the award nominees as illustrations. These were a mix of finalized art pieces and sketches to represent the ever-evolving nature of the entrepreneur’s business and personal lives as their work is never completed. We hoped these would stand out from the crowded social media landscape as bold pieces of creative that looked different from their regular social media postings generating buzz in the lead up to the conference.

In the end, this direction was retooled to feature headshots of the nominees and remain on brand with the theme of the conference.

Final social graphics featuring nominees

I created a series of templates to be quickly updated every week through the summer featuring nominated entrepreneurs until the winner is revealed. We discovered that entrepreneurs profiled would share graphics on their own channels and engage with each other.

On-site rapid graphic production

With the help of the art director and photographers on-site, I was able to quickly and efficiently create platform specific graphics during the conference using templates I prepared beforehand. Since the winners weren’t revealed to our team until the day of, I created templates with the help of an EY designer that we updated with the headshots of winners in each category as they were announced.
